Toyota Etios Sedan Photos - Toyotas Etios Pictures, Images, Toyota Etios Launching on 1st December

Toyota Kirloskar finally launching its most awaited car "Etios" in the Indian market on 1st December, 2010. Toyota Etios was one of the biggest attraction in the Auto Expo, Delhi 2010 and available in both Sedan as well as Hatchback version.

Toyota Etios Sedan will be equipped with 1.5 liter petrol engine and will compete with newly launched Volkswagen Vento, Fiat Linea, Ford Fiesta, Maruti Swift Desire and Tata Manza.

2012 Honda FIT Minor Model Change?

It would only make sense that this 'facelift' comes here to North America....
Japanese manufacturer Honda Motors is all set to launch a facelifted version of their hatchback Jazz (also known as Fit in the international market) according to a Chinese website auto.sohu.com. Thanks to the Auto.Sohu.com, we have the first spy images of the facelfted Honda Jazz/Fit hatchback.

As you can see in the images, there are no major changes, as this is a mid-life facelift for Jazz, no changes under the hood too as the engine specs remains the same. Slight modifications to the rear and front bumper gives the new Honda Jazz a sharper look. There are also some modifications to the front and rear lights along with the touch of chrome to the car’s exterior. The new Jazz is expected to arrive in India by late 2011.

The perpetually capsizing boat freaks out boaters everywhere

Totally off topic, but something that I had to share....

This boat may look like it's sinking fast, but don't worry, it's perfectly upright. That's because this boat, called "Love Love," was designed to look like it's in the process of going under.


The boat has a built-in motor and is able to move around just like any other boat, albeit a boat that will draw a lot more attention than your standard dinghy. It was created by artist Julien Berthier, and he's since taken it out to all sorts of places such as Canary Wharf in London and Normandy, Francy.

SEMA 2010: Honda Shows Accord Crosstour HFP Concept and Accord Coupe HFP

On display alongside the twelve modified CR-Z sport hybrid coupes at Honda's SEMA Show booth, are the HFP (Honda Factory Performance) prepared Accord Crosstour study and Accord Coupe models.

The crossover version of the Accord is a demonstration concept only fitted with a body kit and blacked out front grille, a prototype lowered HFP sport suspension, alloy wheels, color-matched door handles and special black-out door sash trim. Honda did not say when or if these components will be offered for sale.

The 2010 Accord Coupe, on the other hand, comes equipped with already available dealer-installed parts including front and rear aprons, side skirts and multispoke alloy wheels.

Honda makes short film on robots

I will use any excuse to post this picture....
Instead of cranking out a few more commercials, Honda is taking a different approach. It's making short films about some pretty interesting, and varied, topics.

The one about robots is especially well done. It's basic message: Robots are here to help us, says the company that brought you Asimo, pictured above. We have nothing to fear. There. If robots take over the world, blame Honda.

The goal of the films, a far longer format than any ad, was "telling the story we are already telling within the walls of Honda," said Barbara Ponce, Honda's U.S. ad chief. Doing it through short films works because "there wasn't enough time to tell the story and it wasn't breaking through in the 30-second spots."

SEMA 2010: Honda HPD CR-Z Racer Gets a Turbo and Push-to-Pass Hybrid Boost

Technically the SEMA Show doesn’t start until tomorrow but thanks to our spies inside we have these snap shots of just what potential Honda's new CR-Z has. The Honda Performance Development CR-Z Racer looks like a true racing machine and likely is with a fully stripped-down body, a lowered suspension, functional aero and some big 17-inch wheels with meaty racing slicks.

But the truly exciting mods are found under the hood, where Honda strapped a Borg Warner turbo to the 1.5-liter 4-cylinder to pump out 175-hp and 155 ft-lbs of torque. But that’s not all, Honda also rejigged the Integrated Motor Assist hybrid setup to produce added power that’s available with a Indy Car styled push-to-pass button. When pressed, the CR-Z makes a total of 200-hp and 175 ft-lbs of torque.

Other mods include an LSD and some big brake upgrades.

Hopefully Honda is serious about taking this car racing and we’ll be at the press conference tomorrow to find out.
